Need a Title Generator...

I hate coming up with title of these posts...I really rack my brain and then just ususally say...Another Card...or...This is what I've been doing...so I have decide that someone...NOT ME...needs to come up with a title generator...like something that you paste all your text into and then click generate...and it jumbles some stuff up and spits out...like a few words pertaining to your post...come one now...I know there are some super smart people out there who could do this for us...I am JUST NOT ONE OF THEM!

Anyway...Here is Another Card...hehehe...I kept this one super simple, as I wanted to showcase the new Embossing Folder...I also used the new Glitter Glass on the flower...it is SO PRETTY...but kinda hard to take a photo of...

I had my Open House over the weekend...and it was a HUGE BUST...not a SINGLE person showed up...I was really disappointed! I handed out invitations and passed out TONS of flyers...I knew that I wouldn't have a lot of people show up but I was hoping for a few...I had gifts to give just for attending, door prizes, make n takes, card and scrapbook samples and displays everywhere....I had been working for weeks getting ready....but the bright side of this is I have some more projects to show you...ones that you haven't seen and I haven' taken photos of yet...that is on my TO DO list for today...once the sun comes up...but for now...here is a card that I CASE'd right from the catalog...it's on pg. 19 if you wanna know...I just changed it up a tiny bit...See out that window...it's still dark outside...

CARD DETAILS:

STAMPS: Thanks So Much
CARDSTOCK: Basic Gray (4 1/4" x 11"), Baja Breeze (Scrap), Whisper White (Scrap)
INKS: Basic Gray, Baja Breeze
ACCESSORIES: Fancy Flower Punch, 1 3/4" Circle Punch, Elegant Soiree DSP (3 3/4" x 2"), Stampin' Dimensionals, 5/8" Satin Ribbon - Whisper White

...and on another note...I have been following Nancy's iPicks for a long while now...I have been waiting patiently for her to discover my cards and last night when I checked her catch-up iPicks find that she had...She chose this card...that I had posted on 7-14-2010...I still really like this one...and I am glad that she did also...and now that she has found me...I hope that she finds more cards and projects that she likes...and keeps posting them on her iPicks...it makes me smile when I find that others like my work...

I hate coming up with titles...SO...

Another card created in the wee hours...actually it wasn't really that late...I was just really tired...but I was determined to stamp some cards...

I used the new HUGE Circle Punch from Stampin' Up! that will be available starting Sept 1st...and cut out some leaves from the Falling Leaves stamps set...and mounted them around the opening...mounted the sentiment across the circle opening and lined the inside of the card with DSP so that it would show through to the front of the card...Not my original idea...but they never are...saw the sketch somewhere and remembered it...tweaked it as I always do and finally used it...

Here are the CARD DETAILS:

STAMPS: Falling Leaves, Bright Blessings Jumbo Wheel
CARDSTOCK: Poppy Parade (4 1/4" x 11), Very Vanilla (1/2" x 3 1/2", Scraps)
INKS: Versamark, More Mustard, Always Artichoke, Soft Suede, Tangerine Tango, Chocolate Chip
ACCESSORIES: 2 1/2" Circle Punch, 3/4" Square Punch, 5/8" Satin Ribbon - Chocolate Chip, Corner Rounder, Stampin' Dimensionals, Stampin' Sponges, Patterns DSP - Subtles - So Saffron

Enjoy and Happy Stamping...

My Obsession Yesterday...

Sorry there was no post yesterday, but I was a bit obsessed...with THIS...

YEP...I was just a tad bit OBSESSED with getting this completed...and I LOVE it...it is so ME...all Red, Vanilla and Black...with a touch of bling and a bit of Vintage flair...Here are a couple more photos...

Here is a closer look at the lid of the box...it is removable so that you can still store stuff inside...and of course I used LOTS of the Basic Rhinestones...LOVE those things...

Here is a closer look at the face of the clock and again I used a LOT of the Basic Rhinestones...and layered the flowers under the hands of the clock...

I am on a MISSION this year...a MISSION to case the catalog...and I started with the front cover...YEP...that is where the clock is located...right on the front cover of the Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog...so I CASED it and I will do it again...

So what do you think...should I offer this as a class? A tutorial for a fee? Let me know...if you guys would be willing to fork out your hard earned cash bucks dinero for a tutorial...then I will get to working on it...ASAP...If you are in or around the Ft. Worth area I am planning on offering this as a class in the next couple of months...so stay tuned...

Something totally for me...

Last week....I made something...Something...SOMETHNG JUST FOR ME...as there is ONLY one...isn't it DARLING! I used those Greeting Card Kids again...those chubby cheeks just get to me every time...too much cuteness...I picked this little silver dish up at the goodwill last week for a $1.00 and altered it to go into the little nook as you enter my Studio...I will show that to ya'll once I get it all set up...I am still working on it...

Here is a closer shot of those cute kids...

Maybe I will stop by the Goodwill again today to see what else I can find...I also found some beautiful antique chairs to reupholster for $10.00 each...they are going to go into Colleen's room once Kaitlyn moves out later in the fall...the fabric on them now...UGLY...but the shape...and the lines...BEAUTIFUL...I'll show you a photo of them tomorrow along with some other stuff...

Paisley Prints 3-D items...

Here are the Paisley Prints 3-D items made for the Display Boards at Convention...Usually I have a favorite of the items that I show, but I really LOVE both of these projects...

The first one I made using the leaf stamp from the set...it is a cute little triangle box...I figure it could be used at the table on Thanksgiving as a place setting...I really liked how the colors of Poppy Parade, Marina Mist and Crumb Cake came together...so pretty...

And this one...went farther into the year to Christmas....I used the tree and a greeting from Many Merry Messages to make this cute little picture...the frame is from Ikea and it was already red...used the Polka Dot Embossing Folder and Highlighted the Polka Dots with Whisper White Craft ink to look like snow...and tore some cardstock to further the look...SUPER SIMPLE...

As always...I am LOVING the comments and let me know if you have any questions about anything...

More Display Board Stuffs...

Here are the Just Believe 3-D projects for the Display Boards...

The first one I made was this cute little box...I made the top all SPARKLY with Dazzling Diamonds glitter...the flowers on the label are raised for some dimension and the ribbon is tied around side into a bow...this box WAS NOT on the boards...

Here is my other project for this stamp set...I made a mini album out of envelopes and the Greenhouse Gala DSP...and of course photos of my kidlets...

Here is the cover...This is Colleen's only claim to fame on the Display Boards this year...this TEENY TINY wallet sized photo of her...can you get out the magnifying glass and see her there...there in the middle....YEP...THERE SHE IS...in all her tiny glory...

This is Kaitlyn's pull out...it is decorated and has her photo, her name and age...

Here is Reilly's pull out...again it is decorated and has his photo, his name and age,

This one is Colleen's pull-out...again it is decorated and has her photo, her name and age

There she is again...in a bigger sized wallet, but you couldn't see those on the boards as they were tucked away...

Hope you liked by Just Believe 3-D items stay tuned...as tomorrow I will be showing my cards that I made with the Paisley Prints stamp stamp set...Remember this set will not be available to the genreal public until Sept. 1st...so it's a bit of a sneak peek...

Just Believe Display Board Cards...

Here are the cards that I made for the Display Boards at Convention...using the Just Believe stamp set...this set was THE ONE...The One that I HAD to have out of the catalog and I was so excited to get it for FREE...

This card was my favorite one that I did...I just LOVE how the colors came together and how the Pacific Point pops...

I really tried to ONLY use things that were going to be in the new catalog...colors, papers and accessories...on this card I used clear embossing and and then Baja Breeze ink over it...

Again on this card I used Clear Embossing on the Poppy Parade cardstock and then used Whisper White ink to highlight the image...

Top Note Die, Polka Dot Embossing Folder and a Bit of Dazzling Diamonds Glitter on the flowers on the label...(really hard to see in the photo)...but really pretty in real life...and a couple of the new bitty buttons...

I think this one turned out really cute and was also REALLY simple...I stamped the floral image and THEN cut it apart and mounted it onto the Newsprint DSP panel...

As I said at the beginning of this post...this is THE ONE set that I HAD to have out of the new catalog this year...I was so excited to get it for free...I really enjoyed being a Display Stamper even if it IS A TON of PRESSURE as I tend to leave stuff till the last minute and this year was no exception...especially with the move from California to Texas thrown into the middle of it for good measure...but it's all done now...the Display Boards were beautiful...

Check back tomorrow for the Just Believe 3-D items...

I made this cute little box from the Box #2 XL Die for the Big Shot...Layered up the Tag and added some ribbon...even used some of the new Greenhouse Gala DSP...simple but CUTE...

On this one...OVER THE TOP...I used a Dollar Store Shadow Box, and the Greenhouse Gala DSP, the Top Note Die, Lattice Die, Eyelet Border Punch Ribbon, Brads, LOTS of Dimensionals, OH and of course that ONE So Many Thanks Stamp...

Like I said yesterday...I was almost in tears reading the paperwork thinking how was I going to come up with ALL those project for the boards using JUST ONE STAMP and make them ALL look different...but SU! knows best about some things and stretched my creative abilities...THANKS...to them I KNOW FOR SURE that I can take a SINGLE stamp and do marvelous things with it and a FEW accessories...and so can you...

On this one I used the new Newsprint DSP and some new colors...a little more clean and manly...

I used the Square Lattice Embossing Folder and the Greenhouse Gala DSP for this one...

I also used the Greenhouse Gala DSP and the Butterfly Embosslit on this one...

One this last one...I used scraps of ribbon and some Glitter...

I didn't list the recipes or dimensions of the cards like I have been doing as there are too many to list...but once I go back to one card a day...I will go back to that format...As always let me know if you have any specific questions and I will answer them...I hope you enjoyed my take on 5 different cards using just ONE stamp...

So Many Thanks Scrapbook Page

So Many Thanks STAMP...YEP...I said STAMP...Stampin' Up! REALLY challenged my noggin' with this one...YEP...I was almost in tears when I opened the box, saw the stamps, read and RE-READ the paperwork over and OVER again...YEP the So Many Thanks STAMP was one of our MAIN stamps that we had to create the projects with.,..I was like HOW am I gonna do that...it was a challenge...but I did it...Stampin' Up! stretched my creative abilities...and I came up with some REALLY CUTE projects using JUST that ONE little stamp...so stay tuned as I will show you the cards that I made with that stamp tomorrow...

Onto the page...This is my boy...Reilly...he is pretty much a loner...he doesn't have very many friends and prefers to spend his time independently...but anything I need him to do...he will take care of...sometimes with a bit of grumbling...he is a teenager after all, but usually he will just do it...I am really enjoying the fact that I don't need to find the stool anymore...he is well on his way to being 6' tall and he can reach stuff on the high shelf...so I can just holler at him...

Here are some of the page details:

I used Pacific Point cardstock and some of the new DSP that resists ink and brayered over it in Basic Gray and Pacific Point...I then used the Lattice Square Embossing Folder on the Real Red cardstock and made the irregular border. I put the title of the page on the right to balance the photo on the left and then accented the photo with a bit more of the Gray DSP in the corner and the Red Floss "X"'s in the corners...I really like how the page turned out and I think that it showcases the graphic photo that I took of him under the bridge last Spring really well...

As always, let me know if you have any questions...

Just Believe Scrabook Page...

Here is the Scrapbook Page that I made for the Just Believe stamp set for the Display Boards at Convention...

I used a photo of my daughter Kaitlyn that I took just before she left for her Senior Prom last April...I really LOVED how this page turned out...the Butterfly pulls up and there is hidden journaling behind the photo...I used the paper piercer to punch holes around the word classic, so if it look like it is lit from behind...it actually is...

Just a quick post today, as I am off to take Colleen to the Dr...yet again...this time we think she has a Sinus infection...then I am off to the Commissary for my monthly grocery shopping...sorry I didn't post over the weekend...but I rearranged the Studio to better suit the new space and the way I work here...and then I had to clean up from that...BUT...I have now taken photos of all of the stuff I sent in for the Display Boards and will be showing those...so check back OFTEN...

Happy Stamping!
